Baldridge was driving his jeep along Riverside Drive on June 19th when he crossed the center line…hitting and killing 32-year-old Brian Samuel. At the scene, Baldridge told everyone that he had ‘blacked out’ or ‘passed out.’ There was no evidence presented in the trial contradicting Baldrige’s story. As such, the judge found that Baldridge did not have control over his ability to drive the car and he was acquitted on the charge of vehicular homicide.
