Employees locked in cooler during restaurant robbery
Employees at the Morse Road Applebee’s got a particularly cold start to this Christmas week when a pair of robbers locked them in a restaurant beer cooler this morning.
The workers say that they had just started prepping for today’s open when two crooks came into the restaurant, forced them into the back and locked them in the cooler before making off with tens of thousands of dollars.
The crooks set off the burglar alarm during their escape.
