Producing child porn, former Watterson teacher agrees to plea
In October, we told you about Brian Sze. He was the former Bishop Watterson High School music teacher accused of sexual misconduct with an underage student. At the time the story came to light, Sze had already been fired from Watterson after admitting to sending inappropriate messages to a student. Police later arrested Sze in Seattle where he had found work at a private school. That school claimed that Watterson administrators had not been upfront about Sze when they attempted to check his references.
The misconduct case involves the accusation that the teacher encouraged a male student (separate from the one connected to his firing) to record himself masturbating at Sze’s home. As part of a plea agreement, Sze will plead guilty to a charge of producing child pornography. Under terms of the agreement, Sze will have to register as a sex offender and have a monitoring device on any computer that he owns. The court must still sign off on the agreement.
