An East Side woman was sentenced to 11 years in prison today for a fatal downtown traffic accident over the summer.
29-year-old Erin Overturf was speeding and weaving in-and-out of traffic on a late Wednesday night when her Oldsmobile Alero hit a Geo Tracker. The Tracker rolled. The accident proved fatal for 61 year-old Sadie Moss and left 58-year-old Marion Willis with serious injuries. Overturn ran away from the accident scene. She later admitted to texting while driving.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that Overturf was also driving on a suspended license. Her license has now been suspended for life. (jj)
