A Columbus woman whose 2 1/2-year old Yorkie ran off 3 years ago was found recently…in Detroit!
Ta’Shina Green says that her dog Rexxn was at a local relative’s home learning how to use their doggie door. One time the pup ran out…and never came back.
Thankfully the dog had been micro-chipped. When Rexxn was found recently 200 miles from home, a veterinarian was able to scan that chip and Ta’Shina received a very surprising email saying that her dog had been found!
After being treated for fleas and a few other minor issues, the dog is readjusting to life at home in Columbus.
