Archie Griffin stepping down from OSU Alumni Association
Archie Griffin, former OSU football player and two-time Heisman Trophy winner, is stepping down as president and CEO of the OSU Alumni Association after 11 years. In the video message, Griffin says that it’s time for new chapter in his life. But one that’ll definitely be filled with OSU events.
“It is time for me to being writing a new chapter with my wife Bonita. It is time for me to begin writing a new chapter with my wife, Bonita, with the continued blessings of good health and mind. Thank you to Buckeye Nation for all of the support you have given me and love you have shown me over the years.”
A press release from OSU says that will Griffin won’t be part of the Alumni Association, he will take on a part-time role as a senior advisor within the Office of Advancement. (deb)
