COTA planning to grow service in 2016
COTA is looking ahead to 2016 as a year to expand service and redesign their route system. Part of those changes would include the addition of added service to Cleveland Avenue.
Taking into account all of the bus service’s plans for the next year, COTA’s budget would expand from the $151 million allocated this year to $183 million for next year.
A major source of funding for COTA is a temporary 0.25 percent tax levy that is due to expire at the end of 2016. They plan to seek a renewal of that levy.
