Don’t tase me, bro! – new gear for Upper Arlington’s finest
Upper Arlington police are now hitting the streets with tasers.
The force recently purchased 15 of the devices for use by their 50 officers (budget constraints). Each costs about $1,000 plus an additional $200 for batteries and whatnot. The department says that officers have received proper training and now have one more tool to help control someone if they need it.
