When a home exploded on the city’s South Side earlier this week, Columbia Gas was quick to say that they were not at fault. The Columbus Fire Department agrees.
A 3-year-old girl and her 69-year-old great grandfather were injured in the blast.
According to NBC4, the CFD’s report blames the homeowner…saying that they had disconnected the stove and changed the gas shutoff valve. The work led to a natural gas leak and that caused the explosion. (jj)
