Shaun Rowe swerved to avoid hitting a deer early Tuesday morning near Lancaster. It was a move that could have been his last.
Shaun lost control and the truck that he and his 12-year-old daughter were riding in rolled twice and landed in a creek. Luckily for both of them, Bayleigh Rowe was just skinny enough to crawl through a narrow opening in the window.
Bayleigh made her way back to the road and hailed a passing motorist. They called 911 and emergency crews were soon on the scene. It took them 20 minutes to cut Shaun Rowe out of the vehicle. He and Bayleigh suffered a few scrapes and bruises but are otherwise alright.
