Grandview GetGo sells “wrong” fuel to customers

The GetGo fuel station at 1825 West Fifth Avenue in Grandview recently learned of an issue with its supplier. Source One Transportation inadvertently loaded the station’s 87-octane tank with unblended ethanol. This mistake would impact the more than 800 customers who purchased 87-octane or 89-octane gas at GetGo between 9:30am July 13th and 4:30pm July 15th. The error could lead to performance issues for vehicles that were filled up with the incorrect fuel. Customers with concerns are advised to call GetGo at 1-866-620-0216 between 9am and 9:00pm Monday through Friday, and between 11am and 3pm this Saturday, July 18, to process a claim.

This issue only concerns the 1825 West Fifth Avenue location. (jj)
