It’s lift off for truck driver rescued by fire dept.
A truck driver, likely from Jones Fuel Company, was recused via a ladder truck and basket after being stuck in the back of this truck. Earlier this afternoon, the driver was working at the back of the truck (which has slanted sides used to carry dirt) and got stuck. It’s believed that he called firefighters from his own cell; reports are that he was conscious the entire time and in “good spirits.” He has some leg injuries and was taken to Grant Medical Center.
