Ohio lawmakers considering medicinal marijuana
Following Tuesday’s huge defeat on the issue of legalizing marijuana for medicinal and recreational use, Ohio lawmakers say that they are ready to move forward on part of the idea.
Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R) says that many members from both parties agree with a majority of Ohioans on the issue of medicinal marijuana. Rosenberger says that lawmakers are anxious to review results of completed studies on the issue and the findings of research currently underway at children’s hospitals throughout the state. The speaker says that his party plans to take a measured and methodical approach when it comes to legalizing marijuana for medicinal use. (jj)
