Woman critically injured in campus shooting

A woman is in critical condition after being shot near campus yesterday. According to reports, the shooting took place sometime around 9PM Monday night along Summit St., south of E 11th Ave. A 22-year-old woman was shot in the chest and taken to a local hospital after walking to a nearby Marathon gas station and collapsing in the parking lot. She is in critical condition. Police are investigating, but so far, they don’t have a suspect or motive for the shooting. (deb)
