Worker falls down elevator shaft

A maintenance worker was taken to the hospital after falling down an elevator shaft this morning. Around 10:30AM, the worker slipped and fell between 15-20 feet down an elevator shaft in a downtown office building on N. Third St. The worker was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition, and is currently recovering. (deb)
