CoGo bike service set to expand

Managers say that demand and use of the city’s CoGo bike sharing system have been growing in 2015. Riders will be glad to know that recent financial investment in the service is allowing the addition of 110 new bikes and 11 new stations. This means additional system access for people in the following areas:

  • Harrison West
  • Victorian Village
  • Short North
  • Weinland Park
  • Near East Side
  • Franklinton
  • OSU south campus

New stations will be put in place during the first week of July.

CoGo riders pay $75 for an unlimited annual pass or $6 for daily use. Bikes must be returned to a dock every 30 minutes or riders will be charged extra.  (jj)
