Phat news: Ohio losing weight?

Results of the new Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index show that Ohioans may be doing a bit better these days in terms of weight. According to the survey, Ohio is ranked as the 12th most obese state in the nation with a 29.9% obesity rate. Okay, its not exactly a crowning achievement, but we did beat Michigan. Also its better than we did last year when we placed 8th in the study with a 30.9% obesity rate. Taking a look at the rest of the list, it looks like Mississippi may want to hit the gym. They come in number one as the state with the highest obesity rate (35.2%). And Hawaii earns bragging rights with the lowest rate at 19%.  (jj)
