Restaurant manager beaten during robbery

The Tee Jayes restaurant on North High Street (near the Graceland Shopping Center) was held up at gunpoint Sunday night. Witnesses report that an armed robber fired his gun a few times when he came into the establishment just before 10:30pm, but no one was shot. The gunman did pistol-whip the manager before getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
