US Supreme Court to hear Ohio’s same-sex marriage case
Today is a big day for Ohio, as the US Supreme Court will hear three hours of oral arguments regarding the state’s ban on same-sex marriage. The arguments for 4-556, Obergefell v. Hodges will start at 10AM and go until 12:30PM, with audio and transcripts available by 2PM (4/28).

Supreme Court will hear Ohio’s same-sex marriage case
Earlier this year, four state cases (including Ohio) were slated to go before the US Supreme Court regarding the constitutionality of same-sex marriage. The Justices announced in January that they would hear arguments sometime in April, and rule in June. Today, it was announced that the US Supreme Court will hear 150 minute oral arguments on April 28th. (deb)

Supreme Court makes announcement on same-sex marriage
A major announcement from the US Supreme Court on Friday regarding same-sex marriage in America. The justices have agreed to hear arguments in April regarding the constitutionality of same-sex marriage and whether or not individual states have a right to ban it. Rulings are expected in June.
Ohio is one of 14 states that currently bans same-sex marriage. (jj)
