The ordinance makes it a fourth-degree misdemeanor for a retailer to sell such products to anyone under 21. For the first offense, the seller could receive punishment of up to 30 days in jail and a fine of $250. Further offenses would be considered third-degree misdemeanors. Each could result in 60 days in jail and a fine of $500.  (jj)
