Opinion: trips that will keep the whole gang engaged
The Dallas Morning News is ready for summer break. They’ve rounded up three ideal trips that offer fun for the whole family, whether it’s action-packed fun or more leisurely. And what three places did they pick? Oh, just Colorado, California, and Ohio. And not just any part of Ohio – our adventurous capital Columbus.
They specifically highlighted Columbus’ Scioto Audubon Metro Park and its 35-foot climbing wall and trails. The paper said that in Columbus, you can: “Climb a wall, watch birds, paddle and ride in an urban playground.” They also gave a nice little shoutout to the Hilton Columbus and its bike sharing program. But we already knew Columbus was the best place to vacation, and we live here. (deb)
