It took no time for word of JT Barrett’s weekend OVI arrest to spread through Buckeye Nation and beyond. In response to JT’s newfound legal issues, coach Urban Meyer suspended the quarterback for this weekend’s game vs Minnesota. Meyer also announced on Monday that he is pulling Barrett’s financial aid for the summer of 2016.
But before Barrett has a chance to sit that game out, he’ll need to stand in court. His arraignment has been set for this Friday. As Cardale Jones preps for the Buckeyes’ game vs the Golden Gophers, JT will be answering to misdemeanor charges of OVI impaired, OVI per se and backing without safety. (jj)
