12-story Hilton luxury hotel coming to downtown Columbus

Indus Hotels has earned approval of a plan to tear down the HER building at 77 East Nationwide Blvd and build a 12-story luxury hotel in its place.

The hotel will be a Canopy brand hotel, a Hilton Hotel for the ultra upscale traveler. The project will include 168 guest rooms and a rooftop patio bar. Construction will likely begin in June of next year with an opening planned for the latter part of 2017.  (jj)
