Burglars linked together after high speed chase
Three burglars have been arrested after a high speed chase. Around 2:30AM this morning, the three suspects: Danielle Tomak, Justin Buchanan, and Brandon Schlueb broke into the Tobacco Outlet at (229) E Main St. in West Jefferson and set off the alarm. They then took off in a minivan and led police in a high speed chase along Garden Heights Ave. in Prairie Twp., but were arrested after they crashed into a chain link fence.
After going through the minivan, police found trash bags full of stolen lottery tickets and cigarettes, as well as items they had tossed from the car during the chase. All three have been charged with breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools. (deb)
