Capital University President Denvy Bowman has announced his plans to retire from the post. The word comes just as he is beginning his 10th and apparently final year in the job. Bowman says that he will officially step away on July 1st, 2016, giving enough notice so that the university will have ample time to conduct a wide search for his replacement. He says that he plans to return to the classroom at Capital, once again serving as a history professor. (jj)
