*UPDATE* Charges filed in vicious assault at Chuck E. Cheese
Five customers have been identified and are to be charged following an attack on employees earlier this month at a Chuck E Cheese restaurant in Parma. The group became enraged during a child’s birthday party when a photo booth in the arcade area failed to work properly. Surveillance cameras in the restaurant caught images of the group chasing employees into the kitchen and launching a violent assault. Six workers were injured. (jj)

Police in Parma, Ohio are looking for five men that they believe were involved in a brutal assault on workers at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. The attack happened Sunday evening at a child’s birthday party. One of the adults at the party reported to the restaurant manager that a photo booth in the arcade area was not working properly. The matter left the group so enraged that, a short time later, Chuck E. Cheese staff members were chased into the kitchen area and attacked. Six workers suffered injuries in the assault. (jj)

It’s being described as a vicious assault…an attack on employees at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant during a child’s birthday celebration Sunday night in Parma (near Cleveland). Adults complaining that one of the pizza restaurant / arcade’s machines wasn’t working were apparently left unsatisfied by the management’s response to the issue and began to attack employees. An officer who responded to the scene says that workers were chased into the kitchen and severely beaten. Six employees were injured. Police are continuing to try to identify the attackers. (jj)
