Dogs go postal for mailmen in Ohio

We all know that the animosity between our four-legged canine friends and the mailman is deep. But now there’s proof. The USPS released a list today of the top 30 cities with the most dog attacks. And while Columbus generally likes being at the top, this is probably a list we really didn’t want too high a rank on. And while we aren’t in the Top 10, Columbus (tied with San Fransisco) is ranked No. 18. This probably means Fido and I have to have another discussion about postal etiquette. (deb)

Ohio cities with the most dog attacks (2014):

  • Toledo, No. 30 – 10 attacks
  • Akron, No. 25 – 14 attacks
  • Dayton. No. 22 – 18 attacks
  • Columbus, No. 18 – 22 attacks
  • Cincinnati, No. 16 – 24 attacks
  • Cleveland, No. 8 – 37 attacks
