Dublin: crash and fuel spill closes 161

A tanker truck crash has resulted in the spilling of 4,000 gallons of ethanol.

The accident in Dublin has left 161 closed in both directions between U.S. 33 and Cosgray Road. As the clean-up continues, police say that the area will likely remain until at least 2am Wednesday.

The driver of the truck was flown to Grant Medical Center. So far, there’s no word on that person’s condition.  (jj)
