As a result of the lawsuit between US Bank and LNR Partners that began back in September, Creekside’s privately owned parts* are in receivership. That basically means that the property is now under the responsibility of one person. In this case, that would be Brian Basil, who was appointed last month.

Foreclosure heading to Creekside … again

Creekside is facing its second foreclosure in eight years, and things are getting complicated. US Bank and LNR Partners started foreclosure proceedings against Creekside Equity Partners back in December in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. But, Creekside has filed suit against US Bank and LNR Partners in September in the US District Court in Columbus. That means they’re fighting each other in common and federal court.

With all these legal troubles affecting Creekside, there’s just one question remaining: how is the swan (the one usually spotted near the rock embankment) taking all this?
