For central Ohioans, the night sky might have looked a little more spectacular. The Northern Lights were visible in Ohio last night thanks to a geomagnetic storm (or Solar Storm, as it involved two blasts of magnetic plasma on the sun). The effect meant that the light phenomenon was able to be seen by several states in the Northern tier of the US. According to 10TV’s Chris Bradley, the best times to have seen it where between 9:00PM (3/17) and 1:00AM (3/18). (deb)
