Knock-Knock! Your groceries are here!

Knock-Knock! Your groceries are here!

With more and more services and companies offering delivery options these days, the list of reasons that you need to leave your house seems to be dwindling by the day. That said, a new grocery delivery service will soon expand into Columbus.

Shipt will begin local service on January 5th. Customers purchase an annual membership (usually around $99) and then can order and have their groceries delivered without additional fees…though there is a slight upcharge on most items. (Minimum orders are $35. Anything less than that and there would likely be an additional delivery fee.)

Though not partnered, Shipt uses Giant Eagle for filling orders, so if you want something that is only carried at Kroger…you’re out of luck.

The company is running an early bird special with an annual membership available for just $49.

The service will be available in the Columbus, Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg and Upper Arlington areas.
