Man shot after throwing brick at another’s head

Around 9PM last night, a fight broke out between Aron Kinder and John Cochran in front of Cochran’s house along S Wheatland Ave. During the fight, Kinder threw a brick at Cochran and hit him in the head. Cochran then pulled a pistol from his waistband and shot Kinder in the back as he ran away. Kinder was taken to local hospital by a passing motorist and is in stable condition. Cochran was arrested early this morning by Columbus Police SWAT and has been charged with felonious assault. (deb)
