Monica Lewinsky to address cyber-bullying and other matters in Columbus event
She gained fame long ago as a White House intern caught up in a sexual scandal with the President of the United States. Her name became a global punchline and the attention that she received eventually drove her underground. While most of the world didn’t know where she was or what she was doing…and to be honest, most didn’t care…she was earning a master’s degree in London.
Last year, Monica Lewinsky resurfaced in a high-profile fashion with an essay in Vanity Fair. Her focus these days stems from that piece. She talks about cyber-bullying, a “culture of humiliation” and the importance of reclaiming one’s life.
Lewinski comes to Columbus November 5th for an event with the Jewish Federation of Columbus. Tickets for the event at the Sheraton start at $75 and are on-sale now. (jj)
