OSU student honored with posthumous degree
OSU student Stephanie Fibelkorn, who was killed in last fall’s crash along Broad and High St. was honored last night. The university, in a private ceremony, presented Fibelkorn’s parents with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
The Fibelkorn’s have also created a scholarship fund in Stephanie’s name to help other young women pursue a degree in engineering. “Our hope is to see that big brimming smile on the first girl that receives a scholarship here next year,” her father said. (deb)
