You’ve got questions, they’ve got problems

Bad news this week for Texas-based electronics company RadioShack. The 94 year-old company filed for bankruptcy on Thursday. As part of a financial restructuring, the retailer plans to sell as many as 2,400 corporate-owned stores. Another 1,800 locations could be closed altogether. Of the 82 RadioShack stores in Ohio with a target on their back, 13 are in Central Ohio. The financial moves could mean the closing of these locations:

  • Delaware, 809 N. Houk Road
  • Westpointe Plaza Shopping Center, 5332 Westpointe Plaza Dr.
  • Polaris Fashion Place, 1500 Polaris Parkway
  • Morse Crossing, 3944 Morse Crossing
  • Great Southern Shopping Center, 3747 S. High St.
  • Eastland Mall, 4264 Eastland Mall
  • Grove City, 2344 Stringtown Road
  • Westerville, 95 Huber Village Blvd.
  • Reynoldsburg, 2412 Taylor Park Drive
  • Bethel Road, 2710 Bethel Road
  • Circleville, 23585 Route 23
  • Lancaster, 1401 Ety Road NW
  • Lewis Center, 82 Meadow Park Ave.
