Seventh Son Brewing Company will host a Scrabble tournament next week to benefit educational programs sponsored by the Columbus Literacy Council.

The first-year fundraiser is being put on by the organization’s young professionals group on Tuesday, September 8th (International Literacy Day). A $200 grand prize will be awarded to the two-person team that finishes in first place. Consolation prizes will be award to the runners-up and third place.

Team registrations are ongoing and cost $25 / person or $50 / team. Admission is free for those wanting to watch the festivities. Sophie’s Gourmet Pierogis food truck will be on-hand to satisfy those worked-up wooden-tile cravings.

All proceeds will support the work of the Columbus Literary Council.
