T-shirt maker cutting Columbus jobs
Columbus-based t-shirt maker Skreened has revealed plans to cut at least thirty jobs from their local work force. The job eliminations will come in the production area as the business will begin to outsource the manufacturing of garments and other items to other U.S. companies. Skreened says that the move will allow them to increase the quality of their products, while cutting down on production and shipping times. The company says that they are working to help affected employees find work with other local businesses. (jj)
Sidenote: it’s also interesting to realize that Reddit of all places made an observation about Skreened. Earlier this week, a user uploaded a link to Collier’s, asking: “Anyone know what’s up with Skreened? Their building is for lease.” (deb)
