Take a chill pill, Columbus weather

614now Staff

Yes, it started snowing this morning before the sun came up. Yes, it made traffic a nightmare this morning while trying to get to work. Yes, it was intensely cold if you managed to get yourself outside. Yes, the sun did come out. But after a day of Level 1 snow advisories and winter wind chill, I’m beginning to think Buckeye Chuck might not be the best weatherman …

But to end the day, we will let you know that flurries are being reported, Franklin County is under (again) a winter wind chill advisory, and temps will hit 2,1,0 tonight – so take precautions with pets, windows and freezing pipes. And as always drive safely and carefully. Because Columbus, snow isn’t anything new to us. (deb)
