The FOX News Channel will host the first debate among candidates for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination in Cleveland. With 16 candidates in the race, FOX has set criteria limiting the number of participants in the event to ten. The top ten candidates according to an average of the most recent five national polls will be invited to take part in the event on August 6th at Quicken Loans Arena.
Part of the arena will be sectioned off, limiting the number of spectator tickets available. The Ohio Republican Party has said that audience members will be selected by a random draw from email requests. If you are interested in tickets to the debate, e-mail your first and last name, along with the number of tickets that you’re requesting (maximum 4) to: [email protected]
Cut-off for requests is 5pm on Friday, July 31st. Those receiving tickets will be notified via email by Sunday, August 2nd.
If you go, say hi to Donald Trump’s hair for me! (jj)
