*Update* One injured, one dead from I-670 crash

Tuesday’s freeway crash along I-670 has left one injured and one dead. Virginia White (who suffers from dementia) was going east in the westbound lanes of I-670 at I-71 when she hit Hannah Miller, whose car spun out of control and hit Christopher Harden. White and Miller were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where White later died. Miller remains in critical condition.

Previously Feb. 11, 2015 

Last night, the westbound lanes of I-670 were closed due to a wrong-way crash. The crash, which happened around 8:24PM last night, was near the St. Clair Rd. overpass and involved three drivers. Virginia White (2004 Buick Regal) was going east in the westbound lanes of I-670 at I-71 when she hit Hannah Miller (2003 Ford Taurus). Miller’s Taurus spun out of control and hit Christopher Harden (2005 Kia Sedona). White and Miller were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

The freeway reopened reopened this morning around 12:20AM. (deb)
