Whittier apt. fire has children fleeing
Just before midnight last night, a fire broke out in an apartment on Whittier St. According to investigators, the fire started in the back of the apartment and spread to other units. Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly. Three women and three children (all under 13-years-old) made it out safely. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. (deb)
