Wright State to host first 2016 general election debate

Screen Shot 2015-09-23 at 2.31.28 PMThe Commission on Presidential Debates today announced the dates and sites for the organized verbal scrapes that will take place among the major party nominees leading up to next year’s election. Not only will Ohio be hosting the Republican National Convention (in Cleveland), but we’ve also got dibs on the first debate.

The first presidential debate will be held on Monday, September 26th, 2016 at Wright State University in Dayton.

Will it be Trump vs Clinton? Bush vs Sanders? Kasich vs Biden?  Jindal vs…..just kidding…it won’t be Bobby Jindal. But otherwise, the possibilities are nearly endless. For now, here’s a look at the full general election debate schedule.

First presidential debate:
Monday, September 26, 2016
Wright State University, Dayton, OH

Vice presidential debate:
Tuesday, October 4, 2016
Longwood University, Farmville, VA

Second presidential debate:
Sunday, October 9, 2016
Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO

Third presidential debate:
Wednesday, October 19, 2016
University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV
