Creekside Blues and Jazz Fest starts tonight!
Starting tonight Gahanna’s Creekside District is turning up and getting down all weekend at the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival!
From its humble beginnings as a half-day festival in 1998, the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival has since grown to attract over 35,000 people every year, thanks to the packed lineup of the best blues, jazz and soul music central Ohio has to offer.
Expect to see Columbus rockers The Floorwalkers, the incredible jazz talent of Byron Stripling and the Bobby Floyd Trio, and the festival-closing energy and stage presence of Willie Phoenix, among many others.
Plus, the festival is family-friendly, with a host of amusement rides, entertainment and food to keep the littlest blues fans happy.
Tickets cost $7 a day ($10 after 5 p.m. on Saturday), or $15 for a weekend pass only available online. Children under 12 get in free, as do visitors with a valid military ID.
And if you’re planning on going Sunday, you’ll get free admission from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the donation of an unexpired, non-perishable canned good.
Music runs from 5 – 11 p.m. Friday, 12:30 – 11 p.m. Saturday and 12 – 6 p.m. Sunday.
