Calling all social media addicts: OSU football has the job for you!
So you’re already addicted to social media–why not turn the obsession into a profession?
You’re in luck: Ohio State football is hiring someone to coordinate their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat channels, citing the huge influence social media has on teenage athletes.
The goal is to enhance online football recruiting for the 21st century, combining business, marketing and sports into one position.
The social media expert would also be responsible for live-tweeting sports events, coordinating photo and video shoots, finding new methods of online recruitment, and training coaches on how to use social media.
Unfortunately the job is no longer listed on Ohio State’s website, but if you think you’ve got what it takes, it couldn’t hurt to send in your resumé anyway!
