Downtown Condado delayed, Short North location open
According to a press release from owner Joe Kahn, the opening of Condado taqueria’s new downtown location will be delayed 1-2 weeks past its original Cinco De Mayo opening date.
However, the gourmet build-your-own taco restaurant’s Short North location will still be open, celebrating Cinco De Mayo in full swing.
Plus, the restaurant is still giving away a $500 gift card to whoever posts the Instagram photo with the most likes and shared using the hashtag #condadocommons!
4/19/16: New downtown Condado opens on Cinco De Mayo
Just in time for everyone’s favorite excuse to have their fair share of margaritas, Condado taqueria is opening a new location downtown!
The Mexican restaurant-bar is known for its build-your-own approach to gourmet tacos and the bustling atmosphere of its Short North location.
Expect to see more of the same on Thursday, May 5 at the upcoming downtown location, located at 132 S. High St., with the Cinco De Mayo celebration sure to kick things off with a bang.
Outfitted with enough space to seat 150, the artwork and decor of the new restaurant will be similar to the Short North location, but not exactly the same.
“It will be a little different on the inside but there will be no mistaking that it is Condado,” owner/operator Joe Kahn wrote in a press release this morning.
To celebrate the opening, Condado is giving away a $500 gift card to whoever posts the Instagram photo with the most likes and shares using the hashtag #condadocommons.
Regular business hours will run from 11 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends, with a happy hour from 4-7 p.m. featuring $1 off tacos and half-price margs.
