Harlem Globetrotters Visit Columbus

The last time anyone ever thought about Harlem Globetrotters was when they guest starred on Scooby-Doo.

Now they’re coming to the forefront of everyone’s mind not just because they’re performing at the Schottenstein later this month, but because they want to talk to Columbus kids about bullying, according to 10TV.

Wun “The Shot” Versher visited Parkmoor Elementary School to talk about his experienced being bullied and how now, as an adult, he has learned his ABCs.

Action, bravery, and compassion were the three steps of Versher’s approach as he talked to kids, who also had a few chances to bounce a ball around with 6’6″ basketball star.

You can catch this nostalgic and goodwill team at the Schottenstein Arena Dec. 29 from 2-7 PM.
