Lounge on the lawn at the ‘Wex Drive-In’ movie series
The Wex Drive-In movie series is back! So prepare to pack up a blanket, head on over to The Wexner Center Plaza and enjoy some fine films on a summer night.
Though the movie series calls itself a “Drive-In,” it’s really more of a movie in the park-type setting, so blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
Plus, food and drink will be provided by Columbus mainstays Mikey’s Late Night Slice, Jeni’s Ice Cream and Seventh Son Brewing.
This year’s program begins on June 16 with director Wes Anderson’s movie Moonrise Kingdom, a love story of two 12-year-old pen pals and the trials they face. The screening starts at dusk (about 9 p.m.)
Other movies to be screened later in the summer are Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho and disaster thriller Unstoppable.
