What?! Columbus Booze Deliveries Within an Hour

Columbus has countless reasons to drink, but now, according to Biz Journals, Amazon.com Inc is prepping its Columbus Prime Service for alcohol delivery.

They filed permits to sell carryout beer, wine, and prepackaged low-proof mixed drinks in Franklin and Hamilton counties, according to Biz Journals.

The applications for the permits were filed in early September and processing usually takes up to two months, so we might be seeing speedy alcohol deliveries in time for the holiday season.

There’s a few other services that offer limited options in terms of boozy deliveries, including AlcoholToGo.com and The Ohio Taproom. The Ohio Taproom offers freshly bottled craft brews in the delivery service, and provides credit tokens to their physical location whenever you exchange an empty clean growler for a new one.
