Whitehall Community Park to Grow 24 Acres

Whitehall has officially announced it’s agreement with  Four Seasons Golf Center to aquire land in order to expand their community park.

The park will expand by 24 acres, and the remaining 13 acres will be used to build out necessary office space that will reportedly bring in over $1 million in income tax revenue.

The added property will be leased to the city for 15 years, for which the city $250,000.

The agreement solves a dispute between Four Seasons and the city wherein Four Season’s lease could be terminated. The dispute was solved out-of-court when Four Seasons agreed to vacate to make way for the park extension.
