Cajun restaurant De Levee opens back up after expansion

Justin Boehme, owner of cajun eatery De Levee, faced a problem last year that many restauranteurs would beg to have: there was simply not enough space to fit all of his customers.

But this week De Levee opened back up with a reworked floor plan that accommodates 52 patrons.

Boehme opened his restaurant initially in 2010, and added a second location in Gahanna in 2013 after doubling his receipts on a yearly basis.

Serving up Cajun classics like po’ boys, with the option of slathering them in one of the restaurant’s many soups, and crawfish etouffee for the true-bred creole, it’s no wonder De Levee is steadily on the rise.
